Check –in time is 3PM, check-out is at 11AM.  On “Turnover” days, meaning someone checks out when you check in, we cannot offer additional time as we must prepare for the next guests.  On “empty” days please prearrange this directly with Jerelle of Seabreeze Property Management.

TIP: Early check in or late check out must be pre-arranged with Jerelle.  If landing early you can drop off luggage, go have fun and come back for official check in, email Jerelle for more details.”

A couple of days before your stay, I will send you directions, check in instructions, and codes.  Jerelle will be copied on the email for this information too.  (Or send an email through here) Once inside there’s a cell phone on the kitchen counter.  Call Jerelle, for “official” check in, he’s usually only 10-15 minutes away.

With all villas and many resorts it’s best to have a rental car.  Taxi is outrageously expensive.  Even with short distances, at night there are many dark lot areas between restaurants and resorts.  During the day it can get hot enough to not want to be carrying items in the heat.

Leeward Beach, which blends into Grace Bay Beach, is only 2 blocks away on a paved road.  It takes 3-4 minutes to walk to it.  This stretch is quickly becoming everyone’s favorite!

Payments can be made directly through Barefoot Palms, and accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.  We are standard on island, half down as deposit, balance due 60 days prior.  You may cancel up to 60 days prior for a refund.  (minus transaction costs, which goes to the bank, not us)  When submitting payment info, please let your credit card company know that the deposit is being charged by “Barefoot Palms.”  This way your account is not flagged.

When booking directly with the companies, please let them know you’re staying at Barefoot Palms and ask for the discount.  Please ask for it at the time of booking!  Under Guest Services link, you can click directly with our favorites and book direct.

After you’re booked, you may email me for directions, I can even send a map!  You may also email Jerelle for directions.  Rental Cars, and the excellent Where When How magazine (free all over the island) also have maps.  The villa has a notebook with directions to everywhere you want to go, as does the Fodor Guidebook there too.

We love getting you started in comfort!  There’s a daily $30 a/c credit applied to usage.  At check-in you will sign a form that has the meter reading.  Any usage above the credit is charged back at cost.  This is mostly night time use.  Jerelle can give you tips on keeping the amount down.  For example, leaving bedroom units off and door closed when not in the room, they cool off in 10 minutes.  Raise temp while out, lower when you want the comfort.  Guests do tend to go over $100-$200 on certain stays.  Other villas on island charge back the entire amount!

We do not require a damage deposit.  An A/C form is signed on check-in which also serves as Security Deposit.  No money is held against your account.

We provide starter packs of detergents, toilet paper, salt pepper, towels.  We provide beach chairs, beach towels, and coolers so you can go out and explore!  We provide you with a cell phone, and Wendy is on call 24/7 during your stay.  There are 3 hair dryers.  The kitchen is fully stocked with everything we could think of, Tons of plates and pans so you don’t have to clean dishes frequently on vacation.

While trip insurance is optional, it’s highly recommend.  If we are not fully booked, we will work with you as best we can, if fully booked, if storm delays, outside forces, it might be hard to rearrange stays.  For best prices I highly recommend InsureMyTrip.com  (I recommend this in the Fodor’s guidebooks, which I wrote too!)

Yes to all!  Please email me directly I’d be happy to fine tune my recommendations according to your needs.  Provo has one of the best Spas in the Caribbean—The Palms.  So beautiful it’s made the cover of international travel magazines.

I love the Fish Fry on Thursday nights.  There are vendors selling local things.  I highly recommend the tropical affordable jewelry by Wellington.  TIP: get there early, he sells out fast) Tito of Everything TCI is great too!

I love wings and ribs at Big Al’s, and on Wednesdays on $14 for the ribs.  Bay Bistro and Coco Bistro are favorites, as is Hemmingway’s for fish tacos at lunch and the always fun Omar’s.

Try to see Quiton Dean play while you dine—ask me for the latest lineup.  So good he toured with Prince.  (Prince watched him play during dinner one night while on island, the rest is history)
